Placitas Volunteer Fire Brigade: Entry-level recruit classes held twice a year with the opportunity to move to higher levels of medical and fire fighting certification. Wildlife Rescue: Mission is to ehabilitate and release juvenile to adult birds (protected and unprotected including raptors) and educate children in the classroom and Nature Center. Mammals are taken to nearby rehabilitation center that specializes in mammals. Call Linda at 867-8317.
